Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), made the remarks during a meeting with the UN nuclear watchdog’s director general Rafael Grossi in Vienna on Monday.
He asked Grossi to maintain neutrality and professionalism and not allow those countries to use the IAEA’s reports as an excuse to put pressure on Iran.
“The cruel political pressures of Western countries against Iran have been fruitless, and the Islamic Republic of Iran will not leave any political pressure unanswered,” he said.
Enumerating the vast capacities of nuclear technology and industry to serve the public in Iran, Eslami announced that the Islamic Republic is ready to provide other countries with its nuclear capacities in line with the guidelines of the IAEA.
During the meeting, Eslami and Grossi also discussed ways to develop mutual cooperation between Iran and the IAEA.

I reiterated @IAEAorg willingness to engage and make concrete progress in the spirit of the March 4 statement to provide credible assurances that [Iran’s] nuclear programme is exclusively peaceful,” Grossi said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
That statement was announced by Iran and the IAEA on March 4, 2023 during a two-day visit by Grossi to Tehran where he met with President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and AEOI chief Eslami.
Based on the statement, Iran and the agency agreed to continue cooperation on resolving the outstanding safeguards issues, with the Islamic Republic expressing its readiness to provide further information and access to address those issues.
In addition, Iran agreed on a voluntary basis that it will allow the IAEA to implement further appropriate verification and monitoring activities, according to the text of the statement released by the agency on March 4.
The safeguards issues, related to what the agency calls undeclared locations, are on the table because of allegations levelled by the Zionist regime.
Tehran has time and again rejected those allegations, saying that they are based on faked evidence provided by the regime and are aimed at politicizing Iran’s nuclear issue.
Iran also says that it will continue to cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog.
